CLUB PARTICIPATION — The award for Best Club Participation went to the Blue Ridge Street Rodders group, which had nine cars in the Apple City show. Above, left to right: Roy Bentley presents the trophy to Blue Ridge member Jimmy Minton.

TIE FOR BEST ORIGINAL — The 1957 Chevy of Carl Childress (right) and the 1971 Monte Carlo of Don Austin (left) both tied for the Best Original award, presented by Street Rodders President Roy Bentley.

 

 

 
 

BEST INTERIOR — The Apple City Street Rodders award for Best Interior went to Steve Hager (right) for his 1955 Chevy Bel Air, presented by Roy Bentley.

BEST PAINT — The award for Best Paint went to a 1971 Chevrolet Cheyenne pickup owned by Chad Robinette (right), presented by Street Rodders President, Roy Bentley (left).
 
 

DANIELS MEMORIAL FORD TROPHY — The annual award in honor of Apple City Street Rodders long time member Doyle Daniels went to Robert Minton (right) for his 1963 Fairlane, presented by Diane Daniels.

BEST OF SHOW, DRIVEN — The award for Best of Show-Driven went to Chad Robinette (above right), for his 1971 Chevrolet Cheyenne pickup, presented by Street Rodders President, Roy Bentley (left).
 

SHRINERS’ CHOICE — The Shriners’ Choice Award at the Street Rodders car show was presented to Larry Hamby (above left) for his 1956 Oldsmobile by Shriner Doug Teague (right).

TRAVELED FARTHEST — The Farthest Distance award at the car show went to Jack and Lauren Hedden, of Arden, NC, who traveled 145 miles. Above, L-R: Street Rodders President Roy Bentley presents the award to Jack Hedden.
 
 

PRESIDENT’S CHOICE — The Apple City Street Rodders President’s Choice award for 2015 was presented to Larry Hamby of Lenoir for his 1956 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight.

CHAMP REX WHITE MAKES HIS PICK — 1960 NASCAR Grand National Champion Rex White picked the 1940 Ford Coupe of Hohn Church. Pictured above, left to right: Rex White, Hohn Church, and Street Rodders President Roy Bentley.
 
 

LADIES’ CHOICE — The 1951 Ford owned by Jack Hines (above left), of China Grove, won the Ladies’ Choice award at the show. Hines was presented the award by club secretary Martha Bentley (right).

BEST RAT ROD — Pictured above, left to right: Street Rodders President Roy Bentley presents the Best Rat Rod 2015 trophy to Chris Clemmons for his 1948 Ford.
