SHRINER’S CHOICE AWARD — For his 1957 Chevrolet, the Brushy Mountain Shrine Club awarded their Shriners’ Choice trophy to Carl Childers at the Apple City Street Rodders Car and Truck Show on May 14, 2016. REX WHITE’S CHOICE — NASCAR Grand National Champion Rex White, a Taylorsville native, was on hand May 14 to award his pick of the classic vehicles at the Street Rodders show to Alan Brown for his 1962 Chevy Impala. BEST CLUB PATICIPATION — The members of the Catawba Valley Muscle Club were awarded the Best Club Participation trophy May 14 at the Apple City Street Rodders show at ACHS. DOYLE DANIELS MEMORIAL AWARD — Each year, the Street Rodders present the Doyle Daniels Memorial Award to a deserving Ford owner at the annual car and truck show. For 2016, the trophy was presented to Bill Crocker for his 1963 ½ Ford Falcon.
